Key Stage 1 & Keystage 2
In KS1 and KS2 the children follow the National Curriculum as required by the Government.
We use the Maths No Problem approach in the teaching of maths from Year 1 upwards. Writing and Foundation subjects are taught through the Cornerstones Imaginative Learning Projects and cover Science, Geography, History, Design Technology, Art and Design and Music.
Physical Education is taught across the school from reception to Year 6 and includes Gymnastics, Creative Movement and Games Skills.
Information Technology is an integral part of the children’s learning and the school is well-equipped to meet the children’s needs.
We use the 'Letters & Sounds' programme to support our phonics.
Children in KS2 will learn French
Our school is proud of its Environmental, International and Health Work for which we have won awards.
Our school follows the Local Education Authority Syllabus which requires the children to know about other peoples’ faiths and cultures. For further information on our curriculum, please click on the links below or on the right to download the documents.
