Assessment Results
As a highly inclusive school, with higher levels of complex SEND and new to English pupils, our external assessment results are not the only way we measure our excellent level of provision. Pupil progress is carefully tracked and our pupils made good, or accelerated progress against their starting points.
In Reception, 65% achieved Good Level of Development.
95% of pupils made accelerated progress against their starting points.

Internal data tracking is careful to ensure all pupils are making good, or accelerated progress, but this is not reflected in national test results, especially as so many of our pupils have joined the school later and have limited English. Only 40% of Year 6 joined our school in Reception.
When we look at Homegrown Pupils (joined in Reception) then the ambition for all pupils is more evident. For example, 22% acheived Greater Depth (highest standard) in reading and 22% achieved Greater Depth in maths and 4% achieved Greater Depth in writing.
