Do you have a child who is due to start Reception next year?
If so, please read this information carefully about how to apply online for a Reception place.
Children are admitted into school when they are 4 – 5 years old.
The Local Authority is responsible for allocating places in Reception and you must apply online
Visit www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions and submit an online application from 1st October 2025 and by 15 January 2026 (the final closing date).
We would strongly recommend that you ensure you read the ‘Primary Admission Arrangements 2025’ information prior to submitting your application. Further information can be found in the 'Reception Letter to Parents', available to download below.

We follow the BCC admissions code. If spaces are not available, your child will be placed on a waiting list.

We invite you to come and see for yourself how amazing St. Benedict’s Primary is. There are a number of dates set aside for you to book in for a tour.
If you are interested in our Resource Base, then it is advised to book in for these specific tours.
Please ensure that you arrive on time and bring a photo ID to sign in.
