Communication and Autism Team (CAT)
The Communication and Autism Team (CAT) supports our staff in meeting the needs of pupils with autism and social communication differences. CAT provides specialist advice, training and strategies that help us create an inclusive environment where pupils can thrive.
Working alongside school staff and families, CAT helps us to develop personalised approaches that support communication, emotional regulation, independence and social understanding. Their guidance informs classroom practice, environmental adaptations and individual support plans, ensuring that pupils receive consistent and effective support throughout the school day.
Through our partnership with CAT, we are able to provide tailored strategies that help children feel safe, understood and successful in their learning, enabling them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
