Attention Autism is a fun and engaging approach that helps children develop their attention, listening, communication and interaction skills. Through exciting visual and sensory activities, children are motivated to focus, join in and communicate with others.

The programme is delivered in four stages:

 

Stage 1 – The Bucket: Children learn to focus their attention on exciting objects and activities.

Stage 2 – The Attention Builder: Adults model highly motivating activities to encourage shared attention.

Stage 3 – The Interactive Game: Children are invited to take turns and participate in activities.

Stage 4 – The Independent Task: Children apply their skills by completing a simple activity independently.

 

Attention Autism helps children develop the skills needed for learning, communication and social interaction, while building confidence and enjoyment in participating with others.
