Workshops and Support for Parents and Families

Workshops and Support for parents and families

We believe that parents and carers are experts in their children and play a vital role in their success. We work closely with families through regular meetings, workshops, coffee mornings and person-centred reviews to ensure a strong partnership between home and school.

Throughout the year, parents can access a range of sessions linked to SEND, communication, emotional wellbeing, behaviour, sleep, online safety and learning at home. We also signpost families to local services, training opportunities and support groups. Our aim is to provide practical advice, resources and opportunities for families to connect, share experiences and feel confident in supporting their child’s development.

The Inclusion Quality Mark review highlighted the school’s strong commitment to parental engagement and noted that parents value the support, communication and opportunities to be involved in school life. Through co-production, we ensure that families are listened to and involved in decision-making about their child's education and support.
